"text": "The Grinnell Queer History Project is the result of ongoing efforts since 2023 by Morgan Smith ‘26 to document, interpret, and share LGBTQ+ history at Grinnell College and the surrounding town. The project has three major components: a digital collection, an oral history project, and a digital exhibition. The digital collection comprises digitized documents and artifacts related to Grinnell LGBTQ+ history. The oral history project consists of interviews with alumni and townspeople who were influential in Grinnell’s queer history and community. The project’s digital exhibit is a recreation of a physical exhibit that was curated by Morgan Smith ‘26 and displayed in the Burling Gallery during the Fall and Spring of 2026. "
