The Stonewall Resource Center (SRC) made its first move around campus in 2004 as the old Younker Medical Center, located near where the JRC now stands, was being prepared for demolition. It was moved to the pit of Loose Hall for the duration of the construction of the JRC, despite concerns that there would not be enough space for the multi-room space that contained a “computer room, kitchen, meeting room, library, bathroom, and social space” in the Younker Medical Center. Following the construction of the JRC in 2007, it was briefly moved into the new campus center, where it was divided between two different floors, before taking up its current residence in the former Younker Hall Smoking Lounge.
